Welcome to the home page of Warley Cricket Club

Here you will find details of our teams and facilities. The club runs three senior and four junior teams and caters for cricket at all ages and abilities. During the season you will be able to see the fixtures and results for all of the teams by clicking on the links.

All teams play in The Towngate Halifax League. The first and second teams are currently in the premier divisions, the first team was crowned champions in 2008 and the second team has reached consecutive Crossley Shield finals. The Sunday Section plays in The Halifax Sunday League division three. The club runs four junior teams with players from ten to seventeen regularly taking part.

In 2007 the club achieved the Sport England Clubmark status and the distinction of being the fastest club in Yorkshire to achieve this award.

2010 has seen the club take this one step further and are now recognised as a Focus Club, one of only three in The Halifax League.

Clubmark and Focus Club sets generic criteria for national governing bodies of sport to accredit their clubs as being a quality club, having all the right procedures, policies, action plans and coaches with relevant qualifications in place.

During the season open age training nights are on Tuesdays nights 6pm onwards at the ground, new and old players are welcome. Junior training nights are held on Friday evenings at 6.30pm, again all are welcomed.
